The Mighty Creatives
We initially starting working with The Mighty Creatives after helping them to develop the 'TMC' identity displayed here. We have since been involved in creating sub-brands, promotional merchandise, reports, brochures, learning resources, posters, websites, micro sites and videos.
Branding
The design brief for branding young peoples charity 'The Mighty Creatives' was created through a
collaborative process with young people to in order to create an identity that captures the essence of what
The Mighty Creatives stand for. This collaborative approach enabled the new brand to reflect the heart of the
organisation, whilst still creating a professional identity to work with.
Print
We have created a range of literature and promotional merchandise to support the TMC campaigns including
document folders, workbooks, t-shirts and banners. These items need to appeal to a broad audience from parents and teachers to children so we have designed a professional yet youthful graphic style.
Website
The Mighty Creatives aim to emphasise the importance of creativity in learning and education. Bearing
this in mind we decided to make the home page buttons out photographs of 3D models and animate each
button with roll over's. The site needed to appeal to a young audience so we used images rather than
lots of text and made the site fun and easy to navigate.
Sub Brands
The Mighty Creatives asked us to creating sub-brands to differentiate the various schemes and partnerships
they run under the 'TMC' brand. 'Be Mighty Be Creative' and 'Journals' aim to engage young people in the
projects and each have their own set of marketing materials and identity.
Be Mighty Be Creative
TMC asked us to create a brand that would communicate that being creative can take on any form and can be
used in any part of learning no matter what the subject matter. With this in mind we designed a logo where
each letter is made from a different object. This marc has been rolled out across promotional items and
classroom tools.
Journals Project
Journals is a journalism project for young people to learn how to report and document important events
happening in their community. We were asked to create resources and materials including a micro site and
'Journals Notebook' which would be used as a resource by all participants throughout the 2 year project.
Journals Pocket Notebook
Pocket size notebooks for young people participating the Journals project run by The Mighty Creatives. Spiral bound, 192 page notebook with fold out worksheet, calender, diary, silver embossed covers and elastic fastening. These booklets have been designed to be used as a resource for young people for the duration of the 2 year Journals project and so are designed to be robust, practical booklets that young people will enjoy using to document their work.
