The Cogency

We were invited by arts marketing agency The Cogency to pitch for designing the campaign materials for 'Charged', a theatre production produced by Clean Break. After winning the pitch we worked with Clean Break to create the plays visual identity, print and online marketing for the plays debut at Soho Theatre and later the 're-mount' of the play entitled 'Re-Charged'.

Visual Identity
Clean Break work with women whose lives have been affected by the criminal justice system and so they choose a bold and striking photograph as the central focus of the campaign to represent the women they work with. We took this image and developed it into the campaign identity you see here. The Charged literature also needed to visually communicate the un-usual "6 Plays, 6 Voices" structure. To do this we designed a 6 cube motif with each cube representing each play to show how the plays collectively form the showings of Charged 1 & 2.

Print
For the print part of the campaign we produced artwork for leaflets, posters and large format posters.

Online Advertising
The Charged marketing campaign was rolled out online through adverts in Timeout, Twitter Feeds, Tumblr site and E-Shots. We designed all elements of the online campaign and created an animated gif for use in banner ads and website.

We have designed the second addition of campaign materials for 'Re-Charged', a theatre production produced by Clean Break.
