De Montfort University
De Montfort University is a leader in Arts, design and vocational courses. We have been approached for many different projects ranging from identity design to brochure layout and film.
Theatre Pedagogy Identity
We were approached to create an identity that defines the International University
Theatre Association event as a creative inter disciplinary dialogue, marking it's eighth year.
The use of colour and line is intended to be playful to create energy and excitement. They are
continuous, overlapping, integrated representing the teaching and learning practice of the event.
Student Union SSHH Campaign
'Silent Students Happy Homes' is a student services campaign encouraging students to keep the
noise down late at night. When asked to come up with clever idea that would keep students quiet
we created these vibrant 'SSHH' booklets with refresher bars attached, the campaign was a great
success and was rolled out with large format posters and other sweet treats.
Performance Leicester Brochure
A 12pp full colour A5 brochure designed to existing brand guidelines to welcome new arts
students to the city and introduce them to the various performing arts organisations working
in Leicester Images and text supplied by each venue.
Branding: CORD
The Congress on Research and Dance is an international conference held at De Montfort University.
Their chosen identity uses a bold colour palette that gives the conference a professional outlook
whilst communicating the flowing movement of dance and ideas that will be exchanged during the
event.
Film: Performing Arts Centre of Excellence
To celebrate the launch of De Montfort University's Performing Arts Centre of Excellence,
we were asked to create a fourteen minute film bringing together the Centre's three teaching
strands -dance, drama and music technology. The result was a beautiful, almost dream-like,
piece of film that seamlessly intertwined the three disciplines and reflected the
interdisciplinary aspirations underpinning the Centre.
