Identity
Foot in Hand is an East-Midlands based dance company with a particular focus on disability dance. The company approached Rare Company to create and develop a new branding concept that reflected the human, approachable, accessible element of the dance company, and this was the final chosen concept. The logo uses an illustration inspired by in-house photography. Its uneven, natural lines reflect the “humanness” of the company and the dance it creates.

The Foot in Hand branding was developed across the stationery to create a co-ordinating range of business cards, letterheads and postcards.

Design and Print: Postcards
Here, images of past performances were manipulated into a series of four visual postcards to promote the relaunch of the company, acting as a piece of direct marketing. Due to the very visual nature of the company and the arena in which it operates, postcards were chosen as a cost effective alternative to the more traditional complimentary slip and for their versatility in acting at once as an aide-memoir, promotional and sales tool. |
