Video: Iodine
Satsangi are a band that love playing live. With this in mind, Rare Company filmed live action at their Leamington studio, filming each member of the band in turn, and focussing in particular on their playing actions. This footage was eventually turned into black and white so that it would contrast with the main focus of attention which is a continuous and intimate portrait of Sujatha Menon’s vocal performance, in vibrant, saturated colour.

The CD cover uses a still taken from the Iodine film, giving it an almost translucent finish.
